Sr. Business Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, smart and intelligent Business Development Manager who will play a critical and significant role in the business growth of Misfit Technologies Ltd. They must have strong interpersonal skills, software development technical knowledge, and experience working in the ICT industry.  


Key Responsibilities

  • Familiarising yourself with all products and services offered by our company.
  • Running outbound & inbound marketing campaigns to create sales opportunities.
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Managing virtual and in-person sales meetings.
  • Present our company to potential clients.
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
  • Driving the end-to-end sales process.
  • Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow-up.
  • Delivering excellent sales presentations to potential new clients.
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems.
  • Preparing client-specific proposals
  • Training team members

Must-Have Skills/Qualifications

  • B.Sc. degree in BBA or CSE or a related field. An MBA will be advantageous.
  • Minimum six years of working experience in an IT company which is both product & service focused. 
  • Strong marketing and sales skills for generating leads.
  • Advanced presentation and persuasive skills.
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in order to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Extensive knowledge of productivity tools and software – MS Suite, G Suite, Project Management etc.
  • Attention to detail and organisation skills for honing in on each necessary task.
  • Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients.
  • Technical skills required to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Be proactive and organised and can handle work in stressful and uncertain environments.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong sense of professionalism and etiquette.
  • Preparing Bangladesh Govt. tender responses and all required documents will be advantageous.
